Fight for a city for all!

This event has already taken place.

Living in Toronto is only becoming more unaffordable — that's why on February 10th, North York Harvest is bringing our community to City Hall to advocate for a city budget that works for all.

Join us alongside our coalition with Social Planning Toronto to support:

  • TTC fare freeze and cap to make transit more affordable
  • Increased funding to rent bank to help prevent evictions
  • Universal school food program to help families save money on groceries
  • More city-run shelters to ensure no one goes cold this winter

Last year when we mobilized our community and arrived at City Hall with hundreds of petitions and letters — we won. We secured increased funding for drop-in meal programs, increased funding for tenant supports, TTC fare freeze and expanding the School Food Program. That's the power when a community comes together.

And this year, we're getting even louder to make sure that no one gets left behind. Bring your neighbours, friends, and family to join us in fighting for a city for all!
